NCISG Command Senior Enlisted Leader’s encounter with 3NSB DCM-C troops

RUZOMBEROK, Slovakia – Chief Master Sergeant Andreas Merz, NCISG Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL), visited the 3rd NATO Signal Battalion (3NSB) Deployable CIS Module C (DCM-C) on January, 31st, 2024.  

The visit was an opportunity to meet the leadership of DCM-C and troops. Chief Master Sergeant Andreas Merz had a chance to discuss the most important issues with his counterpart at 3NSB, the Battalion Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major, Michal Zelenak. From the youngest recruits to the seasoned veterans, Chief Master Sergeant Andreas Merz listened intently to their challenges and discussed current issues. Throughout the day, Chief Master Sergeant Merz toured the base, observing operations and familiarized with its infrastructure.

During the visit, NCISG Individual and Team Award recognition ceremony was also held. CSEL’s presence ignited a sense of camaraderie and unity among the troops. They felt seen, valued, and appreciated for their unwavering dedication to duty.
