The NCISG Commander’s Conference is a bi-annual event, attended by the leadership of NCISG: Senior staff from the NCISG Headquarters in Mons, Commanders and leadership elements of the three NATO Signal Battalions (NSB), Commanders of the 18 Deployable CIS Modules (DCM), as well as their respective Senior Enlisted Leaders.
The Conference provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the group’s current activities, highlight potential improvements to ensure, the NCISG is fit for purpose. The participants also looked back and evaluated the past engagements, such as during the exercises STEADFAST COBALT 24, STEDFAST DEFENDER 24 and LOYAL LEDA 24. Looking ahead, future topics such as upcoming exercises, health and safety issues, CIS training requirements or future operations were also part of discussions.

In parallel, the NCISG Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL), Andreas Merz, took the opportunity to discuss NCO related topics with the Senior Enlisted Leaders from the Battalions and DCMs.
