WESEL, Germany – on September 25, 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Michael PAUL, Commander of the 1^st NATO Signal Battalion (1NSB) inaugurated the replacement of the unit’s symbol “The Satcom Dish”.  

The 1NSB symbol is “The Satcom Dish” on which the unit’s motto, ‘VIRIBUS UNITIS’ (ang. ‘With United Forces’), is engraved. The unveiling ceremony was accompanied with great excitement. Noteworthy is the work done by the staff artists, Senior Master Sergeant Kai Wiegand and Master Sergeant Agnes Schulz.
