WESEL, Germany – newly arrived NATO Communications and Information Systems Group (NCISG) HQ staff members completed the induction training with a site visit to the 1NSB HQ, in Schill-Kaserne on September, 14, 2023.  

The 1NSB Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Michael PAUL and the Battalion Sergeant Major, Command Sergeant Major Stephanie LANGEVIN introduced the NCISG HQ staff members to 1NSB’s leadership and structure in a plenary session. The group then visited several Deployable Communications and Information Systems (DCIS) static assets. 1NSB staff members shared their knowledge and experience with the use of DCIS equipment during exercises and operations. The site visit was a great opportunity for newly arrived NCISG HQ staff members to familiarize with DCIS assets from 1NSB and the training area.
