The COM NCISG, Major General Frank Schlösser presented the medal to Mr. Andrea Lettieri in the presence of the NCISG 2NSB COM, Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Schneller and colleagues from 2NSB.
The award is presented to to those who have demonstrated the highest standards of integrity, moral character, professional competence and selflessness, and who have contributed significantly to the promotion of the United States Army Signal Corps Regimental Association and the Signal Corps Regimental Association.

Mr. Andrea Lettieri completely fulfils the criteria for the award; he is a professional leader with over 30 years of service in the Italian Air Force and as a NATO International Civilian. He has deployed to multiple operations and exercises across Europe and the Middle East to enable Alliance Command and Control. Mr Lettieri has demonstrated his commitment to accomplishing the mission while taking care of his people.
Currently, Mr. Andrea Lettieri is the Deployable Communications and Information Systems, DCIS, Engineering Chief in 2NSB. As the DCIS Engineer, he continues to train Signal Soldiers on NATO systems, integrate new personnel into the multi-national battalion and advise senior NATO commanders.
