The Commander 1NSB thanked the whole Battalion for its continued success and commitment to NATO Missions and Exercises. He emphasised the impact the 1NSB military and civilian personnel have on NATO and NCISG missions in particular. 

Lieutenant-Colonel Michael Paul said: 

All awards were truly deserved and these include one NATO Meritorious Service Medal, one SACEUR Recognitions Award, several NCISG team and individual awards and the NATO non-article 5 medal for Operation “ALLIED SOLACE

After the official ceremony, the 1NSB Senior Stakeholder Group Dinner took place. 1NSB were delighted to welcome back former NCISG COM Major General (ret) Huhn as guest of honour to celebrate the inaugural 1NSB Senior Stakeholder Group Dinner. He appreciated the great company, delicious food, befitting setting and the esprit de corps shown during this event.
