NATO MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL CEREMONY

MONS, Belgium – On 3 July 2023, on behalf of General Christopher G. Cavoli, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), Major General Frank Schlösser, Commander (COM) NCISG presented the NATO Meritorious Service Medal to Colonel Murat Ozkilic.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) was approved by the North Atlantic Council and is awarded to military and civilian personnel who have been commended for providing exceptional service to NATO.

The award was presented to Colonel Murat Ozkilic in appreciation of his distinguished service while assigned on NATO duties. He has upheld the finest traditions of the Alliance by exhibiting courage, outstanding leadership and through an exceptional contribution, which has brought great credit on himself and earned the respect and gratitude of everyone represented by the Alliance.

On behalf of SACEUR, Major General Frank Schlösser congratulated Colonel Murat Ozkilic for his outstanding contributions, which shaped NCISG HQ’s exercise capability through refocusing his branch’s efforts to dynamically support new defence concepts, execution and design.
