WINTERIZATION TRAINING IN THE RAJSKIE MOUNTAIN TRAINING CENTER – RAJSKIE, POLAND

RAJSKIE, Poland – instructors from 21 Brygada Strzelcow Podhalanskich conducted a winterization training programme for the 3 NSB DCM A (NATO Signal Battalion Deployable CIS Module A) soldiers in the Rajskie Mountain Training Center in January, 2022.

The winterization training included a 7-kilometer march, building shelters, sleeping in the forest as well as improvised fire preparation and surviving in cold water.

Along with the soldiers, the Commander of the 3rd NSB DCM A, Major Krzysztof Ignatowski, also took an active part in the winterization training. Under the watchful eye of the instructors the Commander trained his skills among others in cold water.

The purpose of the training is to prepare soldiers of the 3 NSB DCM-A from Bydgoszcz for winter activities to improve their performance and increase the body's tolerance to extreme conditions.
