MONS, Belgium – on Friday, 2 December 2022, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Christopher G. Cavoli presented various awards to Military and Civilian Staff from SHAPE and NCISG in a ceremony held in the Montogmery Auditorium. 

First, the SACEUR General Christopher G. Cavoli presented SACEUR Awards to two NATO International Civilian (NIC) staff working in NCISG. Congratulations go to Mr. Miltiadis Cacambouras and Mr. Cristian-Claudiu Lupuleasa.

The SACEUR Recognition Award was established to recognize exceptional service and outstanding individual achievement. It is the senior Allied Command Operations award honoring personnel serving for NATO within ACO.

Lastly, the SACEUR General Christopher G. Cavoli presented the Long-Service Awards to recognise NATO International Civilians (NICs) who have continuously served the Alliance for 20 years and more. Congratulations go to Ms. Claire Visockis for 33 years’ service and Mr. Miltiadis Cacambouras for 25 years’ service.
