MONS, Belgium – On 15 December 2022, Major General Frank Schlösser, Commander NATO CIS Group (NCISG) presented Individual, Team and Unit Recognition Awards to NCISG staff members and addressed all NCISG staff members Christmas greetings.
Seven NCISG HQ staff members were recognized with the Individual Recognition Awards, as follows:

· OF-2 Neculai Craiu – J3 Division
· OR-7 Hugo Tome – Registry
· OF-3 Matej Laky – J3 Division
· Mr. Giovanni Spazioso – J2/6 Division
· Ms. Pamela Caci – J5 Division
· OR-4 Andrew Hobby – J1 Division
The Team Award was presented to the NCISG J2/6 STCO22 Support Team for outstanding performance during said Exercise Steadfast Cobalt 22.

During the ceremony, Major General Schlösser expressed his gratitude and great satisfaction for the services rendered by all NCISG staff members, which as always required a lot of preparation and availability. The Commander was impressed by all the positive feedback he received from external stakeholders. He underlined that the NATO CIS Group is very busy with exercises and many staff members spent a lot of time away from home, which is often not recognized.
From his perspective next year will be very a challenging one, particularly in view of the Cobalt Cloud 2023 exercise.
