NCISG DCOM/COS VISITS 1ST NATO SIGNAL BATTALION

WESEL, Germany – Brigadier General Luigi CARPINETO, DCOM/COS of NATO CIS Group (NCISG) visited the 1st NATO Signal Battalion (1NSB)    in Wesel, Germany in order to take part in the 1NSB Symposium and 1st Signal Military Cup, respectively on the 30th and 31st of August 2022.

1NSB conducted these two main activities to build up cohesion; participants from 2NSB, 3NSB and NCISG HQ joined the events as well. 

The 1NSB Symposium was held on the 30th of August 2022. NCISG J3 and J5 representatives also briefed the participants attending the meeting. 

The following day 1NSB hosted the 1st Signal Military Cup, which is an international military versatility competition.  

The aim of this event is to promote and enhance links between soldiers from the different units within the NSB’s and NCISG HQ. In his opening speech NCISG DCOM/COS Brigadier General Luigi CARPINETO expressed his appreciation to all participants, extending his gratitude to all those that made this event possible. 


Both activities ended with force development discussions over a very tasty BBQ.
