MONS, Belgium – The NCISG Commander, Major General Frank Schlӧsser gave his closing remarks for STEADFAST COBALT 2022 on Friday, June 10, 2022.

General Schlӧsser announced the successful closure of Exercise STEADFAST COBALT 22 (STCO22) in which over 1000 participants took part. This exercise has proved that NRF 2023 units and headquarters are able to join the NRF Mission Network effectively with the latest network configuration standards that promulgate defense of data. The exercise has showed the perfect cooperation between Allied Nations to project and sustain security.

NATO continues to leverage its DCIS equipment and capabilities across all spectrums.

STCO22 has demonstrated the unity and resolve of NATO Allies to protect each other and their capabilities in the CIS-domain.

General Schlӧsser concluded, saying the Commanders of the JFCs are now confident that if called upon for a live operation, the DCIS that has been robustly tested will enable them to command and control the forces assigned.
