EXERCISE STEADFAST COBALT 2022 AWARDS CEREMONY

MONS, Belgium – Major General Frank Schlӧsser, Commander NATO CIS Group, hosted a ceremony at NCISG HQ on 30 June 2022 for the Headquarters' military and civilian staff members to present Exercise STEADFAST COBALT 2022 certificates and coins.

Twenty-one HQ staff members were recognized for their remarkable achievements in the conduct of Exercise STEADFAST COBALT 2022. Their stellar performance enabled NCISG to accomplish the desired objectives of the exercise.

During the ceremony, Major General Frank Schlӧsser highlighted the significance of Exercise STEADFAST COBALT 2022 for NATO:

The exercise showed the continued cooperation between Allied Nations to project and sustain Euro-Atlantic security even as we face Russian hostilities. The main goal of the exercise was to plan, prepare, establish, test, evaluate and validate the C4ISR services provided to support NATO Response Force 2023 (NRF2023). You have shown that we have achieved it.
