MONS, Belgium - On 6 December 2021, the SHAPE Chief of Staff, Admiral Joachim Rühle, presented the SACEUR (Supreme Allied Commander Europe) Recognition Awards on behalf of the SACEUR, General Tod D. Wolters.

Admiral Rühle presented the Award to Colonel James Hamilton for his outstanding performance as the J3 Division Head at the NCISG HQ in Mons, thanking him for his significant contributions and distinguished service to NATO.

The SACEUR Recognition Award was established to recognize exceptional service and outstanding individual achievement. It is the senior Allied Command Operations award honoring personnel serving for NATO within ACO.
