MONS, Belgium – Major General Frank Schlösser, Commander NATO CIS Group (NCISG), addressed all NCISG staff members the Christmas greetings on 15 December 2021.
In his first Christmas address as the Commander NATO CIS Group (NCISG) Major General Frank Schlösser, thanked the headquarters staff and battalions' staff, Maintenance and Supply Companies, as well the Deployable CIS Modules commands, who joined via VTC, for their commitment and hard work in achieving the Alliance's goals this year. He asked them to pass on his thanks to their staff and families for their steadfast support, which is so vital in achieving their mission.

Major General Schlösser went on to recap on the busy and challenging year the NCISG has had. He stressed that the staff must continue train as they fight in order to remain ready to deploy at any time for any situation. This was highlighted in 2021 when the Group successfully participated in various exercises, missions and operations. All staff proved professionalism and teamwork at their best.
Major General Schlösser thanked for staff involvement and their efforts during this year.
Looking forward to 2022 Major General Schlösser said that this will be again an exciting year but having witnessed the dedication and experience of the staff, he was confident they would rise to the challenges thrown in their path.

Major General Schlösser finished by telling the staff to enjoy a well-earned rest, and come back refreshed next month. He wished Merry Christmas and very good, successful next year.
