MEDALS PARADE FOR DCM-E

HADERSLEV KASERNE, Denmark – the Danish Signal Regiment Commander, Colonel Henrik Graven along with the Commander of the 1st NATO Signal Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Torsten Peters awarded DCM-E soldiers returning from a detachment in Afghanistan during a medals parade on June 3, 2021.

The parade took place at Haderslev Kaserne with participants from the Light Infantry Regiment, with whom DCM-E shares their Garrison.

Thank you for your efforts and also extended gratitude to the soldiers' relatives, who unfortunately could not be present due to COVID-19.

In his speech, Colonel Graven thanked the soldiers for their efforts and also extended gratitude to the soldiers' relatives, who unfortunately could not be present due to COVID-19.

Thereafter, Colonel Graven had the honor of attaching the medals to the chest of each soldier.

Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Peters gave a speech for the soldiers and handed out numbers for the NATO medals. He also handed over four 'Commander's Coins' to soldiers that had demonstrated extraordinary efforts.
