Open Day at the 3rd NATO Signal Battalion

Open Day at the 3rd NATO Signal Battalion. The 3rd NATO Signal Battalion (3rd NSB) organized an Open Day for the International School of Bydgoszcz and other local schools before they break up for the summer holidays. The event was held in the newly opened NATO Compound, Rejewski Barracks, which is home to the 3rd NSB, in Bydgoszcz on Tuesday 18 June 2019. More than 150 children attended the Open Day.

The event focused on promoting NATO, enhanced visibility of the NATO CIS Group in Bydgoszcz, and highlighted the cooperation of NATO with local communities. Children had the opportunity to learn about the 3rd NSB and to meet soldiers from Deployable CIS Module Alpha and the Maintenance and Support Company, who demonstrated CIS and military equipment during this event.

It was the first Open Day after reconstruction works were completed on the 3rd NSB compound and the plan is to make this an annual event.
