Izmir, Turkey - On 29 January 2019, NCISG Deputy Commander, Brigadier General Hans Folmer, visited 3rd NATO Signal Battalion DCM-F in Izmir, Turkey. The purpose of this visit was for General Folmer to engage with the personnel in order to gain an actual and accurate insight into their current work commitments and discuss any concerns or issues they may have. The visit comprised of DCM-F Commander Lieutenant Colonel Belen delivering a presentation on current and upcoming commitments, followed by showcasing DCM-F’s knowledge, skill and capability by providing General Folmer with a tour of their facilities. Based on this visit, General Folmer was confident that DCM-F have the leadership and the technical expertise to carry out their commitments in an exceptional manner.
