NATO CIS Group Commanders Conference held at SHAPE

MONS, Belgium - The Commander of the NATO CIS Group (NCISG), Major General Wolfgang RENNER, hosted the 13th NCISG Commander’s Conference at SHAPE from 11-12 December 2018. This is a biannual event and is attended by all the NCISG Leadership from the Headquarters, the three NATO Signal Battalion (NSB) Commanders and the 18 Deployable CIS Module (DCM) Commanders.

These conferences provide the opportunity to discuss lessons learned from such things as Ex TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18 and, looking ahead, to assess and coordinate capabilities for the coming year; issues such as the NATO Command Structure Adaptation, and Risk Management.

In parallel, the NCISG Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL), Stefan THEOBALT, hosted the biannual CSEL Conference, which was attended by the Senior Enlisted Leaders from the Battalions and DCMs.
