Command Sergeant Major Donley F. Woodley is a native of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and enlisted in the Army in August 2000 as a Signal Support System Specialist (25U). He graduated Basic Combat Training from Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training from Fort Eisenhower, GA. CSM Woodley has served in every leadership position from team leader to 1SG.
His assignments include 27th ENG BN, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, HHC, 15th SIG BDE, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, St. Thomas Recruiting Station, St. Thomas Virgin Islands, 82nd ABN DIV, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, 4th Psychological Operation Group, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, JFK Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, Camp Humphreys South Korea, and G6, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Liberty, North Carolina. He has deployments to Afghanistan and Kosovo for combat and peacekeeping operations.
CSM Woodley's military education includes Airborne School, Warrior Leader Course, Jumpmaster, Basic Leader Course, Combat Lifesaver, Recruiting School, Total Army Instructor Course, Senior Leader Course, SHARP, Battle Staff NCO Course, Master Resilience Trainer course, Combative Level-1, Army Equal Opportunity Leader course, 1SG course, and the Sergeant Major Academy (Class 71). His civilian education includes North Carolina Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, CompTIA Security+, Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business and Management, and a Master of Science in Management.

CSM Woodley is married to Tiffany Myrick-Woodley, and they have four beautiful children: two girls (Destiny-24 and Armiah-16) and two boys (Armoni-22 and Armari-19).
